Cookies & Tracking

Overview

Furrus uses a small number of cookies and similar storage. Here's exactly what we store and why, grouped by purpose.

Strictly necessary

Your authentication session and onboarding progress are kept in local and session storage so you stay signed in and don't lose your place. These are required for the app to work and can't be turned off without breaking sign-in.

Product analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the app is used — which screens are visited, which features help, and where people get stuck. This helps us improve Furrus over time.

Advertising measurement

If you arrive from a Meta / Facebook ad, we may set the _fbp and _fbc cookies and also report the same conversion events server-side through Meta's Conversions API. This lets us measure whether our advertising is working, without which we couldn't justify running it.

How to opt out

  • Block or clear cookies in your browser's privacy settings at any time.
  • Manage or limit ad personalization in your Meta ad preferences settings.
  • Delete your Furrus account to remove all associated data and identifiers.

We don't sell data

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, in any form. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture of who we share data with and why.
