A personalized dog app, not a one-size program

Furrus is a personalized dog app: it asks about your dog's age, history and current difficulty, then picks one mission a day for them and changes tomorrow's suggestion based on what you logged today.

Almost every dog resource is written for an average dog. Yours is eleven months old, was adopted three weeks ago, adores food but not toys, and can recall in the garden but not the park. An average plan is wrong for them on day one.

Personalization is only meaningful if it changes what you are asked to do. Here is exactly what changes.

Furrus in plain facts

What it is
Furrus is a personalized daily dog app: one short mission a day, chosen for your dog.
Who it's for
Owners of puppies, adolescent dogs and adult dogs who want a simple daily habit rather than a training course.
How it works
You answer a few questions about your dog, Furrus builds a plan, and each day it suggests one mission of roughly 3 to 20 minutes.
Platforms
Web app that installs to the home screen on iPhone and Android (a Progressive Web App). No app store download required.
Price
$17.99 per month after a 3-day free trial. Cancel anytime. Prepaid gift plans are also available.
What it is not
Not a veterinary or behavior diagnosis service, not a live trainer, and not a video course library.
Made by
Furrus, an independent product available at furrus.app.

What Furrus personalizes

  • Starting difficulty — the same skill begins in the hallway for one dog and in a quiet field for another.
  • Which goal leads — recall, loose leash, confidence, calm, social skills, enrichment or bonding, based on what you said is hard.
  • Length — a mission is matched to the time and energy you realistically have.
  • Pace — logged difficulty lowers tomorrow's bar; logged ease raises it.
  • Life stage — puppies, adolescents, adults and seniors get different expectations for the same month.
  • Wording — missions are written using your dog's own name.

How Furrus works, step by step

  1. 1Tell Furrus about your dog

Name, age, and what you're finding hard right now. Three questions, before any account or payment — you see the first mission first.

  2. 2Get one mission for today

A single, specific thing to do together, usually between three and twenty minutes: a recall rep, a scatter feed, a settle on a mat, a two-minute game.

  3. 3Mark it done, and say how it went

That one tap is the whole logging step. It earns XP toward your bond level and, more usefully, it tells Furrus what to pick tomorrow.

  4. 4The plan adapts

A mission that went badly comes back easier. A mission that went well raises difficulty. Skipped days lower the bar rather than piling up a backlog.

Why adaptation matters more than content volume

A library of a thousand exercises does not help if you have to choose. Choosing is the part owners quietly stop doing, usually in week two.

Furrus removes the choice and takes responsibility for the sequence: if a mission was too hard, the next one is easier, and if you missed three days, it restarts somewhere you can win rather than where you left off.

What Furrus does not do

  • It does not diagnose or treat medical or behavioral conditions — fear, aggression, panic and sudden behavior changes belong with your veterinarian and a qualified behavior professional.
  • It is not a live human trainer, and it does not watch video of your dog.
  • It will not fix a serious problem in a weekend; it is built around small daily repetition.
  • It does not sell equipment, and almost every mission uses food you already have and rooms you already live in.

What this looks like inside Furrus

These are real missions from the Furrus library. Your dog's actual journey is shaped around their individual profile, goals and progress — so the wording, difficulty and order will look different for them.

Common questions

How does Furrus personalize the plan?
It uses your dog's age, history, energy, what motivates them, and the difficulty you named — then adjusts continuously from what you log after each mission.
Is it personalized by breed?
Breed is one input, but behavior, age and logged progress matter far more, so two dogs of the same breed can get very different plans.
What happens if I miss a week?
Nothing accumulates. The plan lowers difficulty and gives you an easy win rather than a backlog to catch up on.
Can I see the personalization before paying?
Yes. Your dog's first mission is shown before you create an account or enter payment details.
